Abbott Pre-School Program

Starting Points of Hudson county is an approved contracted childcare center that implements the Abbott preschool program and is a free preschool program sponsored by Jersey City public Schools. The program runs between 8:30 am and 3pm Monday - Friday. All children who live in Jersey City who turn 3 by October 1st of a given year are eligible for the Abbott program. The program begins in September and ends in June of each year. Abbott Wrap around program - before and aftercare services are available to Abbott children whose parents need care between 7am-8:30 am or between 3pm-6pm daily. This is a fee-based program.
